Report content
Draft — not yet in force. This page is the notice-and-action mechanism we owe as a hosting service. It needs a working mailbox — or better, a form — and a documented internal process before it goes live. Passages marked like this are open.
Customers use our API to generate documents and images, and those files are reachable through links on our domain. We do not create or check that content, but when something unlawful is hosted with us we want to know and we will act on it.
What to report here
- a file hosted on
files.dynamicdocumentapi.comthat you believe is unlawful — a forged invoice or certificate, phishing material, content that infringes your rights, or illegal content of any other kind; - a document produced with our Service that impersonates you, your company or a public body;
- use of the Service that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy.
Security vulnerabilities go to our security page instead. Questions about your own data in a customer’s documents go to that customer, who decides what happens to it.
How to report
Send an email to abuse@dynamicdocumentapi.com [TO CONFIRM: mailbox exists; a web form would be better and is expected of larger services]. To let us act quickly, include:
- the exact URL of the file or a copy of the document;
- why you consider it unlawful, with the legal basis if you know it;
- whether you are the rightholder or affected person, or acting for one;
- your name and an email address for our reply — anonymous reports are possible, but then we cannot come back to you;
- a statement that your information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
What happens next
- We confirm receipt without undue delay if you gave us an email address.
- We review the report. Where it is clear that content is unlawful we remove or block access to it, and we may suspend the workspace that created it under the Acceptable Use Policy.
- We tell you the outcome and give reasons. We also tell the customer whose content was affected, with the same reasons, unless the law prevents it.
- If you or the customer disagree, write to legal@dynamicdocumentapi.com and a different person reviews the decision. Your right to go to court or to an out-of-court dispute settlement body is unaffected.
We aim to decide within [TO CONFIRM: 5 business days], faster where there is a risk to people’s safety.
Misuse of this channel
Reports that are manifestly unfounded and submitted repeatedly waste the time that genuine reports need. We may, after a warning, stop processing reports from such senders for a reasonable period.
Authorities
Orders from courts and public authorities, and requests for information, go to legal@dynamicdocumentapi.com. We accept communication in English and German. We inform the affected customer about an order unless we are legally barred from doing so. Further provider details are in the legal notice.
